First Meeting of 2022

2022 And welcome to our First meeting of the year! It also happens to be the Year of the Tiger

Our Scouts were invited to partake in Chinese New Year celebrations and a opportune time for them to practise saying Good Words. In return, they receive blessings from our guiding Venerables wishing them the best of health and funfilled scouting adventures!

Our Scout group had a great start to the year with 13 youths partaking in Scouting as part of the free trial program (interested youths receives 3 free and no-obligation Scouting sessions). Whilst it is always scary for youths to join a new group, our Scouts really did their bit to make them feel welcomed!

Throughout our session, we aim to challenge our Scouts with fun activities grounded in the Scouts Method. We empower our Scouts to lead and provide new learning opportunities. Our Scout unit wanted to build the tallest spaghetti structure, our Cub unit finished their planning for the year and our Joey unit learnt about the Scout Patrol and how to handle the Australian flag!
