Scouts WA - One Family One Journey Conference: 31 Jul - 1 Aug 2021

Over the weekends, our leaders and adult helpers attended the conference for the first time since formation of our Scout group. It was an amazing experience as we met many other committed individuals, learnt from experts and heard many speeches.

We learnt so much over the weekends with one key take away "Youth Empowerment"! Scouting is about our youths and their journey. Just like a family, it is our role as adults to empower youths in a youth led, adult supporting environment. With this in mind, we look forward to implementing this in our Scout Group!

Never the less, we had plenty of fun playing with furry animals (no youths between us and that cute chicky chic chic fluffy yellow ball of fur!! just look at our leaders..); plenty of caffeine, muffins and PHOTOS!! Looking forward to putting into practice our learnings and to the next conference!
